Seoulful Productions is a Korean-American women-led, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in NY. Our mission is to create artistic experiences that celebrate the culture, artistry, and voices of the Korean Diaspora through our own eyes and lived experiences. The goal of this podcast is for us to uplift Korean creatives from varied artistic disciplines, get to know their journey, learn about their artistry, talk about their process, and for us to have a space where we can get to know more artists in our community. Taeuk Kang is a Korean stage manager working across Korea and New York. A Columbia University MFA graduate (2020), his credits include What Happened Was (Audible Theatre, 2026), Stranger Things: The First Shadow (Marquis Theatre, 2026), Moulin Rouge! (U.S. Tour, 2023–25), Did You Eat? (밥 먹었니?) and SUMO (The Public Theater/Ma-Yi Theater, 2025), Happy Fall (CATF, 2025), Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (Lyric Theatre/Tour, 2023–24), An American Soldier and Like They Do In The Movies (PAC NYC, 2024), and KPOP (Circle in the Square, 2022). Caroline Choe is a chef, artist, teacher and writer based in New York City, and is a proud daughter of Korean American immigrants.After a long career in education, she continued her journey into a culinary and creative career. She recently published her debut cookbook, "Banchan: 60 Korean American Recipes for Delicious, Shareable Sides" with Chronicle Books, which was named as one of "The 26 Best Cookbooks for 2024" by Serious EatsShe is also the founder of Create & Plate, a business devoted to helping create community through arts and food education. Choe continues to be involved in schools throughout New York City, and has coordinated and spoken on panels for The Public Theater, The Korea Society, and the Museum of Food & Drink (MOFAD.)
